Jemma studied journalism at the University of Central Lancashire, graduating in 2004. Somehow she got a little lost along the way and now works full time in the retail banking industry. In 2021, she obtained a first class honours degree in Business Leadership and Management with the Anglia Ruskin University. Jemma has blogged since 2016, contributing to parenting site 5whyz.com as well as writing her own parenting blog, Sleepless Nights & Ginger Highlights. She is embarking on an MA in Creative Writing at Lancaster University in 2024.
A passionate piss poor feminist, Jemma’s hobbies include neurosis, sarcasm and taking too much on. She lives in Liverpool with her two sons.
